Easter Pictures

I had a few pictures taken of Arlington in her Easter dress, I was surprised at how much she was actually smiling and for every shot! She never does that for me, I guess I'm just not very funny! Here are a few of my favorites.

I love this one, she looks like such a big girl!

Happy Birthday Mom!

We made the long journey to my Mom's house to celebrate her 52nd birthday, I know she won't mind seeing her age in bold letters on my blog. She is very proud of her age! She might not be quite as proud of her age if she actually looked her age, so if I look that young when I turn 52 then I will be happy also! It was so nice to spend some time with my family, we don't see them near as often as I would like! I forgot my camera but fortunately my brother brought his, whew!( Now that I've started this blog, I bring my camera just about everywhere)

Happy Birthday Mom! We love you!(My niece Peyton wanted to decorate the house with balloons but because she's four the balloons were only placed as high as she could reach.)

She's smiling, I think she's getting the hang of this picture taking thing!

Adam, Peyton, and Mom!

My brother Brady loves to bake and decorate cakes in his spare time, so he is always assigned to bring a dessert to every family function!(Notice his daughter Peyton in the background, she was pouting because she couldn't eat the fondant that was on top of the cake, it's rough being four!)

Katie and Brett( Katie looks frightened, she should be used to Brett by now!)
Oh and Congratulations guys! ( They are expecting there first baby in October!)

Arli and her cousin Gavin, this was the best picture I could find of them! Neither one of them wanted to smile or look at the camera! They both look a little startled in this picture, but hey I'll take what I can get!

She's such a little lady

Arlington loves to show how delicate and lady like she is when we are getting her ready for bed. Or for that matter when she's eating, playing, sleeping, ect.

The "I'm going to bed soon, so I will get out all of my energy as fast as I can " face!

She likes to see just how many cheerios she can shove in her mouth at one time!

Word!

"Now Peyton, I climb up the stairs first...got it!"

A Day at the Park

The weather was fabulous today! It was only about 60 degrees but that's fabulous compared to the dreary weather we've been having lately! Arlington and I decided to venture out of the house for a walk in the park.

This picture is one of the few that I have of Arli actually smiling, she's usually too busy staring at something or someone!

Finally.......a little sunshine!

We decided to take advantage of the nice weather and have a picnic at the park with some of our friends! The weather was warm to begin with, but got a little chilly towards the end, but hey we didn't care we were out of the house( Well, the mom's were glad to be out)!

Al and Olivia enjoying some sweet treats!

The Meyer family trying to enjoy the "warm" weather

Arlington and Marcus( giving his regular picture smile, he really does have a nice smile he's just shy about showing it off!)

A little recap

For any family and friends who haven't been close by for Arlington's last 9 months, here's a little recap of our one and only! And I think this should count as part of Arlington's scrapbook.Arlington and her proud papa at the hospital.

Arlington's first day home!

Arli's first bath( don't worry I'm not going to go through every photo we have taken of her).

1 month old, Marcus was trying out his wannabe professional photographer skills with our deluxe digital camera( just kidding it's really not deluxe, by any means)

2 months, this used to be Arli's favorite sleeping position!

Somehow we don't have any pictures of Arlington from month 3 to month 6, no we are not bad parents, and yes we do take pictures as often as we can! The pictures that were taken during those months were erased during one of Marcus many rebooting(is that a word), downsizing, reconfigurations, ect...... on our computer. Sorry I'm not too familiar with computers! Anyway they're gone!

We fortunately had some professional pictures taken when she was about 41/2 months old, so here are few of those!
6 months, Arli posing with her friend Skye. This is one of my favorites, This is Arli with her cousin Ryleigh. Grandma Clawson bought the girls matching dresses for Christmas and Ryleigh's mom Brynn took some adorable photos.
7 months, Arlington loves to try to crawl out of her bathtub!

8 months, I bought some baby leg warmers for Arli during the summer but she was too small to wear them, so in these pictures I had to give them a try and yeah, they fit!

Almost 9 months, I'm not quite sure why Arli has started doing this face, but it seems to be her favorite lately! And she usually likes to growl while she's doing it! But I still thinks it's pretty cute!(notice the disaster in the background, it's not like this all day long. I really do keep her room clean!)

I jumped on the bandwagon!

I'm not sure really where to begin with this blog, our life is not super exciting! But we will try to keep this as interesting as possible for all of our family and friends.
I would like to dedicate the first entry of this blog to my friend Christen, I finally did it! I am now a blogger, Marcus thought because I was obsessed with other people's blogs I should start my own!

This is Arlington saying "Welcome to our Blog" in her most inviting
and yet laid back pose! This will be the main model in
just about every post!
